It is a known fact that NGO's are a business in countries like Pakistan with maybe one in a hundred working in reality to help people. The "help" decided to be given is generally done in meetings in local 4-5 star hotels & clubs with the bottled water in front also mandatory while everyone there is a “skilled” individual on the topic even if they do not know how to spell that problem
I am generally disliked by the NGO community locally because of my beliefs and that I act against and do not accept the "understood" norms. Our strength comes from everyday people who are seriously interested in solving issues for people rather than using them as a scapegoats to make money off them and socialize. I am afraid many donors also know about this but it's now more about the affiliated names and social acceptance then delivery
